The Hunger Games Fan Made Music, Movies & More

100 Days of Mockingjay Week 6

We're entering the SIXTH week of our 100 Days of Mockingjay celebration. It has been so much fun to focus on different segments of this incredible fandom each week, to hear your stories, and to understand what The Hunger Games means to you guys. This week we're going to focus on more of your fan-made creations, namely fan music, fan films, and audio dramas.

Did you know there's a group of super-passionate fans who adapted all 3 Hunger Games books into audio dramas? If you haven't discovered The Katniss Chronicles yet, you're in for a treat.

Have you ever heard any fan made Hunger Games music? One tribute wrote gorgeous scores for all three books before the films came out. We'll introduce you to his music plus some of the other amazing fan made Hunger Games music and covers you may have missed.

Did you realize how many fan made Hunger Games short films are out there? We'll spotlight some of our favorites.

There are also some crazy talented amateur film editors in the fandom. As soon as a new trailer appears, one of you has re-edited it into something often more powerful than the original content.  We'll highlight some of those this week as well.

As usual, with a new theme for the week comes a new giveaway. This week one winner will receive:

1 Limited Edition Skullcandy Mockingjay headset

1 Black Mockingjay pin

Enter the giveaway through the widget below. This giveaway runs from Wed, Sept 16 - Tues, Sept 22nd at 8pmET. The giveaway is open to international tributes.

My favorite song for The Mockingjay its Warrior by Demi Lovato. I think this song can describe Katniss's life WITH Snow like, have a Part says "little girl grow up to fast" and " YOU Can't never hurt me again". I need this song in The soundtrack of Part 2

The Hanging Tree is my favorite! It's just so haunting. The words that Suzanne wrote with Jennifer's haunting voice and James Newton Howard adding to it. It's so beautiful.

There is definitely no better song than "The Hanging tree"... It's beautiful and the way it's presented in the movie with Katniss singing on a beautiful scenery and then the attack on the Dam gives it a great contrast on the song's meaning.

My favorite song of the score is "They're back", incluyed in "the hunger games: Catching Fire original Music picture score" :3 <3

I litterally love most of the movie soundtracks songs.
The firts time i listened "safe and sound" i fell in love with all the music, and when the catching fire soundtrack artists list came out i was so excited because of christina and coldplay, and then the other songs were even more exciting and beautiful for me as the others (yeah, I´m talking of "silhouettes"). But then the mockingjay soundtrack appeared, at first I didn´t like it so much because i felt like it doesn´t fit with the movie, but then I give it a chance and now I can´t get it out of my head, specially "kingdom", "scream my name", "dead air", "all my love" and of course "yellow flicker beat"; those songs are pure art.

Have to say I love Safe and sound, + Eyes open, although the hanging tree is very creepy and suiting.
